Use two people when necessary. I easily replaced the complete fuel pump unit in my 2006 Jeep liberty limited on our lift with air tools in less than an hour. And I have a tow hitch also.

I made a removable panel for my 06. The outline was there but not removable. So I used a sharp chisel and started a hole then I used angled tin snips and followed the outline and made my own cutout. Just be careful not to cut any wires or lines. used press and seal to re sound proof. made the new plate out of 20 gauge steel and used 8 self tapping sheet metal screws. worked good. A lot easier to do that than dropping the tank.

Way too much un necessary small talk. Didn't even talk about the bearing job until more than half way through. And already had it apart. Useless video.

So after replacing the Ecm you had to do a idle relearn ? How’d you do that & also what’s are the “proms”

Better idea, do an e-fuel conversion, get rid of the pump and fuel bowl. Even with a late 97 California truck just break the pump off and don't take the turbo off unless you've got other oil leaks.

In the recent upgrade of the software, it no longer allows you to monitor the car's operation while driving. For my application, that has made the unit useless since I bought it specifically to monitor the cooling system while driving under a load. If you are thinking about buying one of these, consider that self-imposed restriction

Just had a ground problem with my 91 pickup. Frickin auto zone sold me an alt. that i didn't need. Turns out it was a combination of two different grounds and 7 corrosion filled wires under the dash. What a night mare that was. 6 days to fix it.

i hope you've grown up a bit since you posted this. girls have little brains. i brought this up for a friend of mine (guy) who didn't believe me when i told him how to do it. i learned how to work on my own shit at the age of 20, because i got tired of hearing you guys tell me i couldn't. i can work circles around all of you, and do the jobs twice as good. there's not a nut or bolt on a '67 thru 96 ford pickup or 82 thru '96 toyota pickup i don't know about. i'll go up against you any day and do the job better and faster. and i'm a 59 year old girl. ha!
